Misery loves company, and these are very miserable, angry, hateful people. If they can’t be happy, no one can.

Those accounts are all one person, their original account was called Antiyanks. Not sure if it’s mental illness or an obsession (or both), but they keep making accounts over and over and over, all of which get banned quickly because they’re hostile to everyone. I could never imagine spending literal months of my time making hundreds of accounts just to yell at people, yet this guy does exactly that.

Not with that attitude. The more people move, the more likely people will use the newer community and it’s seen plenty of success.

Surely it couldn’t possibly be because Drag is a shit-stirrer that goes around causing drama. At this rate I’m surprised Drag isn’t banned from more communities.

There’s a movement to move most lemmy.ml-specific communities off of that instance and onto other instances, I’d recommend looking around for alternative communities to the ones you used before. A lot of people are tired of ml’s shitty moderation policies and overcentralization.

It’s no different in Southern Ontario where I live. Saw a semi truck plow into one, it really wasn’t pretty. Another left a huge dent on my mom’s car when she hit one driving at night.
